SO... Slight change in plan, we will be shooting a music video for 'Professor Green - Today I Cried'. All the work so far has lead us to making this vital decision, and the research for 'Stereolife' will still play a major role in our influences for our new video. Keep it locked for more news. Here is some test footage anyways

Research & Planning - Props
We decided to buy a boombox from e-bay, as it would be a prop that people from the 80's could recognise as something as retro and cool. Considering the title 'stereolife' too, its relevant to the song. It could even be used for the single cover as its such an iconic image.
Research & Planning - Location Photos
Leake Street
A tunnel in Waterloo owned by famous artist 'Banksey' where graffiti artist are permitted to express their art. This location has been used for other videos before such as 'G Frsh - Urgh' and
'Jeeday Jawz - One'.

Music videos that will influence us.
1 - 'G Frsh - Urgh' - filmed in the Banksey art tunnel in Waterloo, which is our chosen location. So obviously this video is going to influence us hugely as well as video 2.
2. 'Jeeday Jaws - One'
3 'Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger' - this video begins with a colorful and retro ghetto-blaster, which is the prop that is going to feature in our video, as its original and relates immensely to our chosen track 'Stereolife'

Music Video / Star Persona Influence
Video Influence - ' Calvin Harris - Acceptable in The 80's '
This music video has hundreds and hundreds of random but iconic images. They use many props and fancy stand-out clothes. The video uses a green screen too with the colours blue and orange appearing the most as the background. The colourful theme sets a fun. party mood and is very eye catching for the audience. We believe that this song has a lot of similarities to our song choice, and therefore the visuals are a huge influence to our planning of the music video, as the visuals illustrate the lyrics.
Star Persona Influence
With all of Robbie Williams music videos there is a lot of attention to the artist, with plenty of close up shots. This I believe is because the record label demand it as well as his fans because of his eye catching face. Robbie also connects to his songs emotionally, and this is shown through his video performance. Robbie Williams a living pop legend, and his image has been duplicated by modern artist such as Matt Cardle, Joe Mcelderry and even Professor Green. Watch these videos and compare them to Robbie Williams in 'Angels' to notice the similarities in image.
